Al Jazeera reported Bahrain condemned Iran’s pre-dawn launch of seven ballistic
missiles at Bahraini and Kuwaiti territory on Saturday, calling the strikes a
blatant violation of sovereignty and a threat to Gulf security. Bahrain said the
missiles were successfully intercepted, praised Bahraini and Kuwaiti armed
forces for their vigilance, and urged Iran to stop the attacks, fully reopen the
Strait of Hormuz, disclose locations of sea mines, and allow more than 20,000
stranded seafarers to leave the area safely.
