China's first no-destination sea cruise route launched on June 6 as the domestically built large cruise ship Aida Modu departed Shanghai's Wusongkou International Cruise Terminal. A no-destination cruise departs from a domestic home port, remains in international waters without calling any ports, and returns to its origin as a short-haul cruise format. The inaugural sailing carried more than 4,100 passengers.
