HONG KONG GOVT Financial Secretary Paul Chan said the AI+ and Industry Development Strategy Committee, announced in the budget, has been formed. Membership includes experts, academics and representatives from chambers of commerce, corporates and industrial park operators; the panel will meet for the first time this month. The committee will initially focus on healthcare and embodied intelligence and will study AI application strategies across transport, cultural and creative industries and sustainable development.

Between June 8-12, nearly 200 Shanghai-listed companies will pay 91.9 bln yuan in 2025 year-end cash dividends. China Ping An and CITIC Bank A will credit about 18.7 bln yuan and 7.9 bln yuan, respectively, on June 10. As of June 5, 438 Shanghai firms have paid 281.0 bln yuan in 2025 cash dividends, roughly one quarter of the total, leaving more than 800 bln yuan still to be disbursed and due to be concentrated in the coming period.
