Axios reports a senior U.S. official and an Israeli source said Trump told Netanyahu on Sunday to refrain from retaliating for Iran’s missile attack to give diplomacy more time. The U.S. official said Trump urged a pause because “we are close to a good deal,” and that Netanyahu raised objections but ultimately “reluctantly agreed” to hold fire. The official described the call as calmer than last week’s exchanges and said the administration believes the president bought time and that Israel is unlikely to strike immediately; the official quoted the president as saying the U.S. has “spent three months on this” and it is time to finish it.

MOHURD told a State Council briefing on June 8 that China’s urban underground pipeline network totals about 3.9 mln km, with roughly 7,700 km of underground utility corridors completed. During the 15th Five‑Year Plan period the ministry said it will build or renovate about 770,000 km of urban underground pipelines – including ~200,000 km of gas, ~175,000 km of drainage, ~175,000 km of water supply, ~100,000 km of sewage and ~120,000 km of heating pipelines – a programme the ministry said will strengthen urban resilience and support investment demand.
