A news agency on the 7th cited a military source saying Iran is militarily
prepared to respond to further Israeli action and warned it would carry out
larger-scale strikes if the situation escalates. The source said a significant
number of missiles are on standby and that, if Israel retaliates against Iran,
Tehran would immediately launch missile strikes against a wider set of targets
in Israeli-controlled areas at a scale exceeding prior actions. The source added
Iran is prepared for a possible large-scale military conflict and urged Israel
to take the warning seriously.
