On June 8, Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development vice minister Qin Haixiang told a State Council policy briefing that localities should deploy central fiscal funds, local government special bonds and credit funds, fully leverage market mechanisms and actively attract social capital. He urged encouraging private enterprises to participate in urban infrastructure construction and operation to build a sustainable urban construction and operation financing system.

Fars News reported Iranian negotiating team spokesman and foreign ministry official Baqaei said major gaps remain in talks, chiefly whether the US will recognise Iran's rights including uranium enrichment. He said US forces have repeatedly attacked Iranian merchant ships in the Strait of Hormuz and international waters since the ceasefire. Baqaei warned the regional situation and the ceasefire are very fragile and dangerous, blamed what he described as US disregard for consequences, and said Iran's armed forces will respond to any attack.
