Israel's Home Front Command ordered new nationwide civil‑defense measures after
Iran resumed missile launches toward Israel. Measures, effective 22:00 on the
7th through 20:00 on the 8th local time, suspend all education nationwide —
schools, kindergartens, day‑care and special‑education institutions — cap
outdoor gatherings at 200 and indoor gatherings at 500, provided attendees can
reach standard protected spaces within the required time. Authorities said
people may attend workplaces only if they can reach shelters in time. The Kerem
Shalom crossing between Israel and the Gaza Strip is closed from the 8th and
transfers of goods to Gaza have been suspended.
