Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson BAGHAEI said the United States bears direct responsibility for recent breaches of the ceasefire agreement and that Israel's actions cannot be decoupled from U.S. policy.

Israeli military said it was intercepting missiles fired by Iran toward northern Israel, with air-raid sirens sounding across Haifa and the Sea of Galilee and civil-defense authorities ordering residents to shelters. The Israeli Air Force said it was carrying out intercept and strike operations to eliminate the threat; Channel 12 reported four missiles. The military later reported a new wave of incoming missiles and said air-defence systems were intercepting.

Italian media reported on the 7th that a migrant boat carrying about 60 people capsized in waters off Malta, killing at least 10. Search-and-rescue operations are ongoing under Maltese coordination.
