Israeli military said it was intercepting missiles fired by Iran toward northern Israel, with air-raid sirens sounding across Haifa and the Sea of Galilee and civil-defense authorities ordering residents to shelters. The Israeli Air Force said it was carrying out intercept and strike operations to eliminate the threat; Channel 12 reported four missiles. The military later reported a new wave of incoming missiles and said air-defence systems were intercepting.

China has approved registration of 330 special medical foods (foods for special medical purposes), covering all product categories and age groups and broadly meeting clinical nutrition needs. Thirty-five clinically urgent products have been routed into a priority-review green channel to speed approvals and market entry. One new full‑nutrition oncology formula was registered. Five domestically produced rare-disease products were approved via the priority channel, delivering full‑age coverage for phenylketonuria (PKU) and the first domestic registrations for methylmalonic acidemia (MMA) and propionic acidemia (PA) products.
