Chinese Vice President Han Zheng met Belarusian President Lukashenko in Minsk on
June 8, 2026. Han said both sides will maintain leader-driven diplomacy and
close high-level exchanges to keep China-Belarus relations on the correct course
amid a complex international environment. China voiced support for Belarus
pursuing a development path suited to its national conditions and said it is
willing to jointly implement four global initiatives to protect developing
countries' common interests. The two sides agreed to strengthen alignment of
development strategies, deepen cooperation in traditional sectors, expand
win-win development space and consolidate bilateral public support.
