South Korean won rose more than 1% against the dollar after South Korea's Finance Ministry said it would inspect speculative trading in the foreign-exchange market.

Iranian military sources told Iranian media on the 10th that about 70% of intended targets were struck in a retaliatory operation against US forces, Xinhua reported. The sources said Iran's long-range ballistic missiles and drones breached US base defenses and struck intended targets at the US base in Azraq, Jordan; Ali Al Salem base, Kuwait; and facilities tied to the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain.
