Saidou Technology's new AIVA auto brand is expected to source its vehicle LiDAR from RoboSense, according to people familiar with the matter. AIVA's first production model, the AIVA ME7, is slated to debut in 2026. The brand will target the mainstream market above 200,000 yuan. Saidou has partnered with Volcano Engine to jointly design the AI car experience; Volcano Engine will supply the Doubao large model and intelligent cockpit technologies.

Night session open: China's domestic commodity futures main contracts were mostly lower. SC crude oil, fuel oil and styrene (EB) fell about 2%; synthetic rubber, PET bottle flake, PTA, paraxylene (PX) and short fiber dropped over 1%. On the upside, SHFE tin rose nearly 2%, alumina gained more than 1%, and SHFE copper and zinc were up about 1%.
