US EIA weekly crude stocks fell 7.227 mln barrels in the week to June 5, versus a consensus draw of 3.974 mln barrels and a prior draw of 7.974 mln.

CPPCC Vice Chairman Xian Hui led a delegation to Vietnam from June 8-10, meeting Vietnam Politburo member and Secretariat standing secretary Chen Jinxiu, Politburo member and Vietnam Fatherland Front chair Pei Shiminghuai, and Vietnam Fatherland Front vice chair Huang Gongshui. Xian said CHINA and Vietnam’s general secretary and president Su Lin recently held in-depth talks on broad strategic issues and outlined a blueprint for a higher-level, strategic China–Vietnam community of shared destiny. China, he said, will follow top leaders’ strategic guidance to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation and advance construction of the China–Vietnam community; the CPPCC stands ready to contribute.
