Israeli President Isaac Herzog said on the 10th he wants peace with Lebanon but that Beirut must remove HEZBOLLAH and Iranian influence. Speaking in a video after inspecting Israel’s northern border, he said HEZBOLLAH violated the Israel-Lebanon ceasefire and that Israel "cannot accept attacks on its citizens, cross-border strikes or any terrorist attacks." He added that without clear arrangements guaranteeing Israel’s security, bilateral relations cannot improve.
