At a June 11 briefing, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian responded to a
Financial Times report that, citing rising trade tensions, China had cancelled a
high-level meeting with the EU this month, saying China and the EU are
maintaining communication on the relevant dialogue. Asked whether MOFCOM
minister Raimondo will still visit the EU later this month as reported, Lin
advised directing that question to the relevant Chinese authorities.
