June 11 — The Guangzhou futures exchange's most-active polysilicon contract hit
the daily limit for the third time this year, settling at 37,710 yuan/ton, up
3,110 yuan/ton (8.99%) from the prior settlement. Market participants cited
rumors of PV capacity clearing as the main driver. The draft Energy‑efficiency
limit values and grades for crystalline‑silicon PV modules and inverters has
entered its final pre-release approval stage and is expected to be published
shortly, sources said.
