Sources say the Trump administration plans to meet as early as next week at the WHITE HOUSE with executives from the largest U.S. defense contractors to discuss accelerating weapons production after U.S. strikes on Iran and other recent military actions depleted supplies. The meeting would be the WHITE HOUSE's second CEO-level convening on boosting weapons output; a March session included CEOs from BAE Systems, Lockheed Martin and Boeing and the defense secretary. Pentagon negotiators are continuing to press contractors to speed deliveries, and a production agreement reached earlier this year remains central to those efforts.
