U.S. President Trump said Iran will not have nuclear weapons.

President Trump said the United States would take a very tough line and resume heavy strikes on Iran if a peaceful agreement cannot be reached. Speaking at the White House, he said we will hit them and resume bombing, and cited Iran’s downing of an Apache helicopter in the Strait of Hormuz. Trump said the US has the right to resume strikes and that he wants a meaningful agreement which Iran should sign. A Fox News report earlier said he was close to ordering strikes on Iranian infrastructure; Trump said he would not specify whether bridges or power plants would be targeted.
