Premier Li Qiang chaired a State Council executive meeting that approved the Beautiful China Construction "15th Five-Year Plan." The plan frames Beautiful China as a systemic effort, calling for targeted action to protect blue skies, clean water and soil, coordinated advancement of ecosystem optimization, active responses to climate change, and acceleration of green production and lifestyles. The meeting called for stronger coordination and deployment of a package of legal, market, technological and policy measures to drive implementation and secure further progress.
