The China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing (CFLP) said in its 2026 General
Cargo International Logistics Development Report that China’s general-cargo
international logistics sector remained broadly steady, with stronger
specialized service capacity, more diversified and smoother international routes
and improved integrated support amid trade-structure adjustment and deeper
high-quality Belt and Road cooperation. In 2025 general-cargo exports stayed
large: exports of key items tied to international logistics — overseas
engineering projects, power equipment, engineering machinery and agricultural
machinery — totaled about $295 bln, up 12% YoY, with mechanical and electrical
equipment the largest category at roughly a 30% share.
