Via Shanghai Stock Connect, Tracker Fund of Hong Kong and Tencent Holdings were net sold HKD 2.237 bln and HKD 420 mln respectively; CNOOC was the top net buy at HKD 609 mln. Via Shenzhen Stock Connect, Tracker Fund and Alibaba-W were net sold HKD 1.659 bln and HKD 926 mln respectively; Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable led net buys at HKD 780 mln.

The commander of Iran's Hatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters said U.S. rhetoric about agreements contrasts with what he called malicious actions, a contradiction he blamed for regional instability that threatens trade, the international economy and security, especially the Strait of Hormuz. He warned any renewed U.S. attack on Iran would be met with a harsher, broader response that would expand the fighting and deepen regional insecurity. Citing recent U.S. threats against Iranian oil infrastructure, he said Iran's oil and gas exports will be either open to all or closed to all.
