Ukrainian President Zelenskiy said he had a "very good" call with US President
Trump, discussing the war and its roots, diplomatic opportunities and partners'
positions. Zelenskiy called Trump's remark "completely correct" that Russia's
seizure of Crimea "started it all," and said stronger leadership at the time
might have prevented the war. He said Ukrainians' primary aim is peace and
described full US societal support for Ukraine's pursuit of dignity and peace as
"critical."
