June 15, Guangzhou — Guangdong provincial government and China Southern Power
Grid signed a comprehensive '15th Five-Year' strategic cooperation framework.
The agreement commits both parties to high-level, pragmatic cooperation on:
building a new-energy system and a new power system; developing coordinated
transmission-distribution-microgrid operations; guiding economy-wide green,
low-carbon production and consumption shifts; creating a globally influential
energy and power technology industry cluster; and deepening power-sector reform
and safety governance. The framework aims to accelerate China Southern Power
Grid's development into a world-class company and support Guangdong's leading
role in China’s modernization drive.
