Baosheng Group analyst Richard Tang said a US-Iran peace agreement would be
positive for Asian equities because most Asian economies are net oil importers;
reopening of the Strait of Hormuz would be a material tailwind. Tang said a
potential oil-price decline that reduces the likelihood of further rate hikes
could boost AI names and the broader tech sector; tech-heavy markets such as
Korea and Japan jumped sharply in early Monday trade. He added India could
rebound as oil-price risks ease and other drivers improve.
