Iran’s foreign minister Araghchi phoned Lebanese president Aoun and parliamentary speaker Berri on the 15th to brief them on Lebanon-specific clauses in the Iran–US memorandum of understanding (MoU). He said Iran is committed to ending the war and aggression against Lebanon and urged the United States to ensure the MoU’s terms are properly implemented, including a full end to Israeli attacks on Lebanon. Lebanese officials welcomed the MoU, said Lebanon’s security is integral to regional stability and endorsed the inclusion of a clause calling for an end to the war against Lebanon.

ISRAELI MILITARY said it intercepted multiple rockets fired by HEZBOLLAH at forces in southern Lebanon.
