Shanghai and Shenzhen bourses traded CNY 3.065 tln on June 16, up CNY 33.50 bln from the prior session. Shanghai turnover was CNY 1.370 tln with trading volume 616m lots (prior session: CNY 1.404 tln, 679m lots). Shenzhen turnover was CNY 1.695 tln with volume 755m lots (prior session: CNY 1.628 tln, 757m lots). Zhongji Xuchuang led stocks by turnover at CNY 29.09 bln, followed by Dongshan Precision CNY 24.94 bln, Hengtong Optic‑Electric CNY 23.77 bln, GigaDevice CNY 22.67 bln and Xinyisheng CNY

China's Ministry of Finance said it will auction CNY 20 bln of 91-day discounted treasury bonds on June 17, and on June 24 will auction CNY 85 bln of 30-year ultra-long special government bonds and CNY 160 bln of 2-year book-entry coupon-bearing government bonds.

On June 16 NDRC Director Zheng Zhaojie chaired a meeting with five private-sector firms, including Aode Group, Harbin Jiuzhou Group, Shanghai Hanxun Information Technology and Hebei Baoxin Logistics, to solicit views on the economic outlook and on systemically advancing construction of the "Six Networks" and measures to expand domestic effective demand. Participants said advancing the "Six Networks" is necessary for current and near-term economic and social needs, will create large demand with strong multiplier effects and broad spillovers, and offers material opportunities for market expansion, investment and innovation; firms said they will actively participate to support national strategic priorities.
