Bank of Japan Deputy Governor UCHIDA said upside risks to prices are emerging to some extent.

Alibaba Cloud Intelligence Group said at the 32nd China International Financial Expo that T-Head (Pingtouge)'s self-developed Zhenwu AI chip has exceeded 100,000 AI cards deployed in the Chinese financial sector, covering more than 150 major institutions across banking, securities, insurance and fund management. As of May 2026, cumulative shipments of the Zhenwu series reached 560,000 chips; in finance the chips are used in wealth management, credit risk control, investment research and advisory, application intake recognition and compliance monitoring.

BANK OF JAPAN Deputy Governor UCHIDA said the central bank will continue to raise the policy rate based on developments in economic activity, prices and financial conditions.
