State Administration for Market Regulation told a June 16 press briefing it has
issued compliance guidance to major platforms ahead of the 618 e‑commerce
promotions, defining six compliance duties and stepping up supervision. Measures
target stricter merchant admission and qualification checks and removal of
unlicensed/revoked/non‑compliant sellers; require transparent pricing and
publication of dynamic‑pricing rules; and order crackdowns on false price cuts,
misleading promotions and fabricated orders/reviews to protect fair competition
on platforms.
