Tencent’s intelligent agent product WorkBuddy is testing an AI payment feature and plans to add an 'AI exclusive' card in WeChat Wallet. The card’s spending limit is set by user top-up, authorization scope is controllable at any time, funds are earmarked for specific use, and agent-initiated payments require user authentication. A source said the feature could launch as soon as this week; Tencent did not respond to requests for comment.
