China's National Bureau of Statistics said May goods trade totaled 4.452
trillion yuan, up 16.9% YoY and accelerating 2.7 percentage points from April;
exports were 2.588 trillion yuan (+13.8% YoY) and imports 1.864 trillion yuan
(+21.5% YoY). Jan–May goods trade totaled 20.683 trillion yuan, up 15.3% YoY;
exports 11.914 trillion yuan (+11.8%) and imports 8.769 trillion yuan (+20.5%).
Jan–May general trade rose 8.3% YoY; trade with Belt and Road countries +13.6%;
private-sector trade +15.5%; electromechanical exports +18.4%.
