U.S. President Trump arrived nearly an hour late to a morning leaders' session
at the G7 summit in Evian-les-Bains. French President Macron had already opened
the meeting and U.S. Treasury Secretary Bessent was seated in the chair marked
for Trump. On entering, Trump walked to the table and said I am the boss. He
then addressed the media, asking do you want to stay and sit in on the meeting?
I have no objection, after which French hosts quickly asked journalists to leave
the room.
