Another 40–70 mm of rain is expected in the next 1–2 hours. Shenzhen has entered an emergency rainstorm-defense state; authorities urge people to avoid low-lying and flood-prone areas. The named areas face high risk of urban flooding, flash floods, landslides, debris flows and ground collapse.
