Ali Dailami, a political bureau member of Yemen’s Houthi movement, welcomed a
US‑Iran first‑phase memorandum of understanding and urged the United States to
abandon its aggressive Middle East strategy. He said the Houthis expect the US
to respect the MOU and warned they would act if Gaza or Lebanon face another
open invasion. Dailami called for a new, region‑led security order in the Red
Sea to protect neighboring states’ interests and counter US dominance.
