Late on the 22nd local time, the Israeli prime minister's office said after a phone call between Prime Minister Netanyahu, Defense Minister Katz, IDF Chief of Staff Zamir and Northern Command commander Rafi Milo that the IDF will continue to take decisive action to thwart threats to Israeli soldiers and civilians, destroy military infrastructure in southern Lebanon and maintain a "security zone" there.

Switzerland's foreign ministry said on June 22 it welcomed "constructive progress" in U.S.-Iran talks and is ready to support follow-up steps. Switzerland said it will continue its mediation role and stands ready to assist.
