Despite a slow start in equities this week, SpaceX (SPCX.O) still faces a favorable window to tap the bond market. The benchmark 10-year U.S. Treasury yield remains elevated at 4.507% on Monday versus 4.450% last Thursday, yet investment-grade corporate spreads are hovering near multi-decade lows, indicating strong investor demand. "SpaceX is not trading on fundamentals," said Gil Luria, head of technical research at D.A. Davidson. "Prices are driven more by optimism, hope and dreams, so we should expect large volatility — the past few sessions are just an early taste."
