On 22 June, Iran's chief negotiator and parliament speaker Ghalibaf said an Iran‑US memorandum of understanding explicitly calls for ending wars against Iran and its allies. June 22 — An Iranian delegation led by parliament speaker Kalibaf left Switzerland and returned to Iran after Kalibaf said he learned of President Trump’s threatening remarks. He told U.S. Vice President Vance at the talks that Iran would not negotiate under threats or coercion; the delegation then suspended talks and did not return.
