Wang said China views India as an important neighbour and urged bilateral cooperation with a long-term, global perspective. He called on the Global South, including China and India, to use BRICS to advance multipolarity, defend developing countries’ legitimate interests and steer the international order toward greater fairness, and said China supports India’s BRICS chairmanship and will work with New Delhi to strengthen the bloc.
