South Korean chip industry sources said on June 23 that Samsung Electronics' sixth-generation high-bandwidth memory (HBM4) has exceeded $1.0 bln in sales. Samsung began global mass production of HBM4 on Feb. 12; sales reached the milestone in just over four months and are forecast to surpass $1.2 bln by end-June.
