In calls with US Vice President Vance and Secretary of State Rubio, Aoun and US officials discussed recent developments and phased progress in US–Iran talks in Switzerland; Vance and Rubio said the US supports Lebanon's push to extend legitimate state authority across its territory and strengthen control over national sovereignty.
