U.S. Senator Warren will urge Congress to strengthen antitrust enforcement for
emerging technologies such as AI and reform M&A review rules to increase
information transparency, according to her prepared remarks. She is expected to
say: "Companies cannot escape antitrust scrutiny simply because they use
algorithms. If a firm uses AI to illegally drive up rents during a national
housing affordability crisis, we must push back."
