Chongqing Development and Reform Commission has drafted a public consultation notice aiming to raise full-lifecycle services for foreign-invested projects. The proposal calls for stronger foreign-capital attraction, the creation of an 'Invest in Chongqing' brand, and a tiered project-attraction mechanism to accelerate conversion of leads into signed deals, signings into funded projects, and funded projects into production capacity. It also proposes using the pilot free-trade zone as a testing ground and actively pursuing pilot opening policies for telecom value-added services, healthcare and education. The document is a draft circulated for public comment.

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) said on Thursday it will narrow strike-price intervals for weekly stock and index options. The change, subject to regulatory approval, is scheduled to take effect on July 27, 2026. Narrower strike spacing will provide more strikes closer to prevailing market levels, allowing market participants to deploy positions more precisely and improving trading and pricing efficiency in weekly options.
