Wedbush said in a note that because Apple targets higher‑income consumers, its recent price increases are unlikely to materially dent demand. To offset rising memory and storage chip costs, Apple raised Mac and iPad prices by 15–25%. Wedbush analysts said the surge in memory prices forced the hikes, but Apple’s growing focus on the high end gives it scope to lift prices without sacrificing hardware performance or provoking significant customer attrition. They added Apple’s collaboration with Intel should help diversify the supply chain and partly ease memory and storage cost pressures.
