Lebanese Hezbollah MP Hassan Fadlallah said he rejects the Israel‑Lebanon agreement signed in Washington, D.C., calling the Lebanese authorities’ approach a unilateral, unnecessary concession that harms national interests and serves Israel’s interests. He warned the pact could cause dangerous internal divisions, said Hezbollah will oppose any measures by Lebanese authorities and will more firmly retain its weapons, and described the group’s opposition as “serious,” saying it will not allow the authorities to implement commitments on the ground.
