China Huadian's Qinghai branch said its Delingha integrated high‑altitude
solar–hydrogen–storage project — a 1 GW solar array with a 3 MW PV‑to‑hydrogen
unit — has generated more than 4 bln kWh. The Delingha facility in Haixi,
Qinghai includes a 3 MW hydrogen plant, a 330 kV step‑up substation and a 270
MW/1,080 MWh battery storage station. The project is among China's first large
wind‑solar bases on arid/Gobi land and marks the country's first trial of green
power‑to‑hydrogen at high altitude.
