At the morning session close, China's main futures contracts were mostly lower.
Container shipping rates on the Europe route fell over 9%. Lithium carbonate
rose more than 5% and polysilicon gained over 3%. Coke, methanol and coking coal
declined over 2%; platinum and iron ore fell about 2%; SC crude and ethylene
glycol dropped more than 1%. LPG and Shanghai zinc gained over 1%; 20# rubber,
Shanghai tin, cotton and soybean meal were up around 1%.
