China Politburo member and Vice Premier Liu Guozhong met Belarus First Deputy Prime Minister Snopkov in Beijing on July 2. Liu said President Xi’s June 29 meeting with President Lukashenko had injected fresh momentum into the China‑Belarus all‑weather comprehensive strategic partnership and urged implementation of the leaders’ consensus, using the China‑Belarus Intergovernmental Cooperation Committee and other mechanisms to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation and support each side’s modernization. Snopkov said Belarus is willing to deepen pragmatic, cross‑sector cooperation and advance bilateral ties.
