Guizhou provincial government office issued a 2026–2030 action plan to shift
marketing “from selling liquor to selling a lifestyle” and to promote Guizhou
baijiu overseas. The plan calls for a three-year outbound campaign, urging firms
to innovate cooperation and export models, set up overseas exhibition-and-sales
centres, and develop products tailored to international consumption habits and
scenarios. It mandates at least six annual "Qian Liquor Global Tour" events
leveraging embassies, consulates and trade associations to embed Guizhou baijiu
in global consumer channels, and links outbound promotion with inbound tourism
to support two-way growth.
