Baltic Dry Index closed up 67 pts (2.5%) at 2,717 on Friday, its highest level since June 19; weekly gain 7.6%. Capesize index rose 179 pts (4.6%) to 4,100, up 12% on the week — the largest weekly increase since mid‑April; Capesize average daily earnings increased $1,618 to $33,678. Panamax index gained 8 pts (0.4%) to 2,203, rising just over 4% for the week and recording a second consecutive weekly rise; Panamax average daily earnings rose $67 to $19,825. Supramax index slipped 2 pts (0.1%) to 1,673.

Southbound Stock Connect net bought 45.38 billion yuan today. Hong Kong Stock Connect via Shanghai: Kingboard Laminates and Tencent Holdings were net bought HK$723m and HK$423m respectively; UBTECH Robotics was the top net seller at HK$551m. Hong Kong Stock Connect via Shenzhen: Xiaomi Group‑W and Kingboard Laminates were net bought HK$492m and HK$181m respectively; Huahong Hongli was the top net seller at HK$1.319bn.
