Financial Times reports hedge fund Situational Awareness, run by a former OpenAI researcher, and UK asset manager Baillie Gifford are among investors planning to subscribe about $7 billion of shares in SK Hynix's Nasdaq IPO.

Indeed economist Callam Pickering said Australian job postings were relatively stable over the past year but hiring demand could ease through the remainder of the year amid ongoing economic headwinds. He described the labour market as neither strong nor dire and said recent signs of strain have made employment a growing consideration for the RBA. Pickering added those cracks are not sufficient to prevent the RBA from raising rates again.

China A-share banking sector gained after choppy trade; Qingdao Bank, Xi'an Bank and Zheshang Bank rose more than 4%, while Shanghai Rural Commercial Bank, Chongqing Bank and Jiangyin Bank also advanced.
