Multiple supply-chain sources say Apple’s first foldable will enter mass-production soon. Final assembly is slated to be handled by Foxconn, which has begun production ramp preparations and is recruiting temporaries at 22–26 yuan/hour for a July–October three‑month ramp. Foxconn is also hiring permanent line workers with probation pay of 2,600 yuan and confirmed pay of 2,950 yuan plus overtime, performance and night allowances; temporary hires require no medical exam and can start immediately.
